Michael Fu, O.D., F.A.A.O. received his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of California-Berkeley School of Optometry and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. In addition, Dr. Fu attended specialized training at the University of Miami-Bascom Palmer Eye Institute Cornea Service where he participated in the post surgical care of corneal and refractive surgery patients.
Since entering clinical practice he has held positions in which he was responsible for the clinical management of ocular emergencies, strabismus, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma in addition to the routine eyecare of primary care patients.
Dr. Fu currently serves as the Manager of Optometric Services at D’Ambrosio Eye Care in Lancaster, Massachusetts where he supervises 11 primary care optometrists as well as developing and implementing standards of care, utilization audits, as well as coding and HIPPA compliance. Last but of great importance is Dr. Fu’s role in holding Grand Rounds for his peers to continuously broaden their clinical expertise and professional experience.
